- Fashion Figure Drawing:
Master the art of drawing a 10-head fashion figure, including understanding the measurement chart. Start with a block/stick figure and progress to creating a detailed female fashion figure. Learn the process of converting a block figure into a ROBO figure and further refining it into the final fashion figure with intricate detailing.
- Face, Hair, and Garment Draping:
Focus on drawing facial features and hairstyles on fashion figures. Gain proficiency in draping garments on fashion figures and learn techniques for colouring the body, face, hair, footwear, and accessories of the fashion figure.
- Balance, Movement, and Embellishments:
Study the balance and movement of fashion figures, particularly in a 3/4th view. Explore advanced draping techniques on movement figures and learn to colour the face, body, and hair accordingly. Discover the art of placing motifs and colouring embroideries using golden, silver, and white colour pens.
- Face Sketching and Hairstyles:
Develop skills in sketching faces on a 4″ x 4″ block, focusing on front view, 3/4th view, and side view. Understand the facial features of each view and their significance. Learn to create different hairstyles suitable for various occasions and design accessories to complement the overall look.
- Swatch Rendering:
Practice rendering swatches of different fabric patterns such as animal prints, floral prints, polka dots, baby prints, satin, velvet, feathers, and fur. Explore techniques to effectively depict the texture and characteristics of each fabric.
- Theme Board and Bridal Wear:
Learn the process of creating a theme board using paper collage methods. Dive into draping and rendering Indian traditional bridal wear such as Lehenga, Blouse, and Dupattas. Focus on rendering the details of the Lehenga, including embroidery and jewellery. Develop skills in creating visually appealing backgrounds and handling assignments related to bridal wear.
- Party Wear, Office Wear, and Casual Wear:
Explore draping and rendering techniques for different dress styles suitable for party wear, office wear, and casual wear. Study illustrations by renowned Indian designers such as Ritu Kumar, Ritu Beri, Rohit Bal, Tarun Tahiliani, Sabyasachi, and Manish Malhotra to understand their unique styles and design aesthetics.
- Creating Croquis and Portfolio Enhancement:
Learn to draw multiple croquis together on a specific theme, showcasing different styles. Develop skills in colouring and rendering garments on the croquis. Focus on creating backgrounds and applying effects to enhance the portfolio. Engage in assignment checking and address any doubts or queries.
