Established in 2011, UnitedWorld Institute of Design is one of the top design schools in India under the aegis of Karnavati University. Some of the partner institutions are Nottingham Trent University, De Montfort university Leichester, University of Creative Arts, NABA, University of Derby, Coventry University, KISD, etc. These partnerships give students exposure to international opportunities and broaden their horizons as creative professionals. Students can attend international seminars, summer schools, global study trips, exhibitions, etc.
UID offers UG, PG, and PhD courses in the discipline of Design. The flagship course of the institution is their B.Des course across 8 specializations and a 2-year M.Des course across 4 specializations. The college also offers integrated M.Des, where students can take admission right after passing 10+2 and upon completion, get a dual degree of b.Des and M.Des. UID also runs the B.Des honours program in Global Design, where students can complete their 3rd semester at Swinburne University, Australia, 5th Semester at Naba, Italy and 7th semester at Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom. Admission to the courses depends on the candidate’s performance in UID-DAT.

UnitedWorld Institute of Design Admission
Admission to the UID courses are of 3 steps. Candidates need to qualify for UID-DAT, which is the entrance test of the institute. Application forms are available both online and offline Mode. The admission process includes 2 rounds:-
- Design Aptitude Test which includes General IQ, Analytical & Creative Ability of the Candidate.
- Studio/ Situational Test.
- Portfolio Evaluation
